How I Got FREE Huggies Diapers At Rite Aid!

Free huggies at Rite Aid

I got paid over $6 to buy four packs of Huggies diapers at Rite Aid!!!

Yes, you read that correctly! They paid me to buy four packs of diapers that normally cost about $11.99 each pack in this area! I try to always pay less than $5 a pack, and have paid much, much less. I think this is the first time I’ve been paid just to buy diapers, though!

This sale at Rite Aid runs from 1/10 to 1/17. You have to be a member of their Plenti program, which you can join at the Plenti site here. I’m new to the program myself, so you can learn more about it there. I just want to share this great deal!

Here’s how I got free Huggies diapers using coupons!

I used 4 of the $2.00 off Huggies coupons I printed off at Swagbucks. Join via http://www.swagbucks.com/refer/KeishaChelle and we both get 300 points when you make it to 300. You get 40 points just for redeeming these four coupons!! Just go to Discover and then Printable Coupons once you join to get started printing. Easiest way to find these are to click the baby & toddlers category in coupons.

Get 4 Huggies packs of whatever kind matches your coupons.

I got a $4 off of $20 coupon in the store the other day. Without this coupon, you’ll still come out more than $2 ahead, so don’t frown if you don’t have it! It’s still the most amazing deal ever!

You’ll get a $10 coupon immediately after purchase, and can use it then or later. I chose to use mine right then on clearance stuff that was marked 75% off, so that $10 got me over $40 worth of items and I paid just over a dollar in overage. My kids are thrilled, as you can tell from my oh-so-professional shot of what they got below. LOL

free huggies at rite aid 2

You will also get 1600 in Plenti points, which can be used at any of the places mentioned on the Plenti rewards site. I’m planning to use mine for $16.oo worth of gas, since that’s a necessity and one of the awesome options available for redeeming the points!

I’m just learning about this program, but I think I love it!! I’m not getting anything out of sharing this deal, other than the joy of helping other parents save money! Hurry before they run out of diapers! Seriously!

Who is going to get your free diapers? Need clothes, too? Check out how to get free clothes using my referral link at School Discount Clothing! To learn more about Swagbucks, read my post here.

Happy Six Months, My Third Child!

Happy 6 Months

My Dear Third Born Child,

You are six months old now.

Six months of sweet baby snuggles, big blue eyed stares, smooching chubby cheeks, nursing you to fuel those adorable leg rolls and feeling your dimpled fingers curled tightly around mine.

Six months of waking up with you each night, walking the floors with you each day, calming your tears, and wiping the drool off your chin with the dimple just like a miniature of your Daddy’s.

Six months of watching your big sister and brother learn how nurturing they can be and enjoying how sweet & loving they are with you.

Six months of watching you return their crazy attention, incessant kisses and protective helpfulness with adoring looks and delighted wild waving of your little arms when they speak to you.

Six months of falling more deeply in love with you each day as I watch you slowly becoming the individual personality you are.

You may be my third child, but all of my children tie for first place in my heart.

Never forget that.  I knew before I ever had my first child that I was meant to have a third. That feeling never stopped until you were here, and I knew this beautiful, sweet baby girl was the third child I’d always known I was meant to mother. The only difference is that Mommy has more patience and more awareness of how fleetingly frustrating and yet how precious the clingy, needy stages really are. Being born third makes you no less special than if you had been my very first.

Every milestone makes me proud. Every smile makes my heart shine. Every slobbery kiss and soft snuggly hug makes me melt into puddles of maternal affection. Every time I see your fascination with new things reminds me again of how wonderful the world can be through fresh eyes. Every moment with you is a miracle and a gift.

My Favorite Cookie Recipe Books

my favorite cookie recipe books

After using them to do some Christmas baking, I thought I’d tell  y’all about my two favorite cookie recipe books!

I used to check them out repeatedly from the library to try new things, but my dad finally wound up buying them for me. Talk about an amazing gift that he knew I would use and love!!

The first of my favorite cookie cookbooks is called 1001 Cookie Recipes.

1001 cookie recipes

It’s chock full of tasty recipes, complete with indexes for types, ingredients and titles. I absolutely love it!
Want to know a couple of the goodies I have made from this book?

On page 54, you will find Banana Chip Bars. It’s one of my go to treats! I always add a dollop of peanut butter, because we love it, and sometimes simplify it by using self rising instead of all purpose and it’s accompanying ingredients.

Chocolate Refrigerator Cookies. For a really soft cookie like we prefer, I bake just 5-6 minutes. My kids loved decorating these for Christmas!
You can get your copy on Amazon here: 1001 Cookie Recipes

My other favorite recipe book is BH&G Ultimate Cookie Book.

ultimate cookie book

It also has beautiful pictures, a detailed index using ingredients and titles and includes tips for baking better cookies.

A favorite from this book is banana split brownies from page 379. If you don’t want to make the icing from scratch, just get fresh or frozen strawberries with the pre-made cream cheese kind. This recipe is soooo good, though!

Get your own copy at Amazon here: BH&G Ultimate Cookie Book

Top Posts of 2015

2015 in review

It has been a year of change for my family.

There have been countless changes this year! We made a big move this spring. Our third child was born healthy and sweet in July, after a stressful couple of months of premature labor and followed by a prolonged recovery for me due to extreme blood loss. I had numerous injuries and sicknesses since then. There has just been a ton going on in our personal life, which I won’t bore y’all with.

For my faithful readers, I wanted to share the highlights from 2015 here at Penny Pinching Peach with y’all!

A pretty exciting thing was that my pregnancy announcement with my third child- Another Thanksgiving Blessing!- was featured on Parents.com, as linked at the bottom of that post!

I am also a new contributor with Millennium Moms.

I added the option to follow me via Twitter and Pinterest, if you would like to follow now at the links on the side bar! Of course, I still have Facebook and the option to follow via emails. All of these venues have different neato additional content, such as giveaways & freebies I share and great content from my fellow bloggers.

It was very interesting seeing what you liked best this year, so I’m excited to share my top posts in different categories from this year! If you see something here that you really like, please do me a favor and share!! It would make me so happy!

Christmas Candy Blessing

Christmas candy

So, you have no money to spend for Christmas? You’re not the only one!

This year has been one of getting extremely creative and being very wise with very little. Christmas has just upped that to a whole different level!

I have been putting off buying Christmas candy for my kids’ stockings. I just didn’t have extra money and they are always with me, anyway. The other day my husband kept the two older kids after we figured out our grocery budget, so I could get a break and concentrate on shopping. I’d waited almost two weeks to go for anything other than a gallon of milk and some bananas, because I could cook with what I had and we didn’t have the money for more. I wanted to get my babies some candy for their stockings! They expect candy canes and chocolate, so I wanted to at least get one package of each. I set my budget at a whopping $1.00 maximum, and was confident I could do it. I only had change in my purse and wasn’t using my debit card before I hit the grocery store, so that was it.

Need to make your own candy with your tight budget? Check out this book that is as low as free, and includes many candy recipes! The Ultimate Christmas Recipes

I carefully planned out my deals and stackable coupons and headed into CVS. With thoughtful selection and mental mathematics, I did it!! I was able to get two bags of two different flavored Hershey’s kisses, a pack of candy canes AND two plastic candy canes filled with gummies! My total savings was- wait for it- 100%!!!! I handed the cashier the 38 cents of tax that wasn’t paid by my overage (the tax itself was supposed to be $1.20) and couldn’t stop myself from exclaiming “Yay!!! I had nothing in my budget for Christmas candy, so thank God for coupons and bargain shopping!”. She laughed and said “That is awesome!”.

Moral of the story? God will provide, positive thinking pays off….and penny pinching is AWESOME!!!

Looking for more ways to stretch a very tight budget further? I can help you do what I do to help my family, and get free clothes and earn free books!! It’s so simple and they are really high quality items you receive! You won’t regret it!

Schoola Discount Clothing

Schoola Clothes

Does anyone need clothes on a limited or non-existent budget? I have to share this way to get clothes online cheap for you!

I just received my first order of 8 much needed items for only $8 from Schoola, plus I still have a couple of dollars left for a future order! It wound up like that because I ordered a new with tags item that said it wasn’t eligible to be bought with credit. I am beyond thrilled, because my older two little ones really needed more decent clothes and this was a sort of answer to an unspoken prayer. If you use my referral link, we both get a $20 credit (you can use it immediately- it applies automatically).

They are known for quality gently used children’s clothing, but they carry adult sizes, as well. The men’s clothing is under the teen boys’ section, and I saw sizes up to XL men’s. This is a wonderful bargain for anyone, not just mommies like me! I’m serious, this made me really happy, since my kids needed some clothes so badly and I had nothing extra in the budget. These clothes were not only a bargain, but they are beautiful, great quality and look brand new. They were much nicer than I expected from looking at the site, even! The little purple dress for my baby girl came new with tags. They get these clothes donated in the name of schools, and give 40% to the school chosen to credit the donation to. Lucky me, I’d earned some Paypal money and was able to use it to pay for the items, so it took nothing out of our budget.

Does anyone in your house need clothes?? Use my referral link for your $20 credit now, and don’t forget that coupon code for 30% off!! https://www.schoola.com/stitch?ref=cp-3X82va1HF
